"It's comforting to be in a profession where you don't lose your skills when you get to be a geezer. "
Edward Sorel is a legendary American illustrator, caricaturist, and political satirist celebrated for his loose, wavy pen-and-ink style. In 1953, he co-founded the highly influential Push Pin Studios alongside Milton Glaser and Seymour Chwast.
Known for his biting left-liberal social commentary and fierce criticism of authority, Sorel has spent over 60 years shaping American media. His iconic work has graced major publications, including 46 covers for The New Yorker, alongside features in Vanity Fair, Esquire, and The Atlantic.
He is a Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame inductee.
